pen and brown ink, washed in brown and blue. On paper laid on paper. The drawing is laid on canvas. Defects and restorations.

The drawing has been declared of historical and artistic interest by the ministerial decree no. 198/2018, dated November 29, 2018
The historical and artistic report accompanying the decree attributes the drawing to an anonymous artist of the Roman Baroque, due to the Bernini’s influences that the work reveals. On the other hand, our opinion, based on the construction of the figures, is that the drawing is the work of a Genoese artist, certainly influenced by the Roman Baroque.
