The idea of introducing a Department of Decorative Arts of the 20th century, arises from the need to offer to our customers an accurate consulting service through the organization of auctions specialized in the sector; the sale of their collections, will be entrusted to one of the most famous italian experts in the field. Donata Patrussi, profound connoisseur of the 20th century Decorative Arts, has been working in the sector since 1982 and is the owner of two galleries in the historic center of Florence. Specialized in the Art Nouveau period, she has a particular predilection for glass from the Italian, French and Austrian schools. In 2011 she published for Giunti Liberty Natura e Materia, translated and published in the same year in France for Grund. In the past, she expanded her experience by collaborating with an Italian auction house as a director of the Department of Applied Arts. Often invited as a speaker at exhibitions and events, she has contributed to numerous specialized publications and organized themed exhibitions.
