20th Century Decorative Arts & Design

Top Lots
The 20th Century Decorative Arts Department is the latest addition to Maison Bibelot, but in its 30 years of activity, the auction house has always paid particular attention to the art of this century. Its sales catalogues have often featured works in porcelain, glass and bronze by the most famous 20th century masters such as Giò Ponti, Galileo Chini, Francesco Nonni, Emile Gallè and by the most important Italian and international manufacturers such as Richard Ginori, Lenci, Laveno, Goldscheider, Fontana Arte, Amphora, Venini, Barovier and Daum, often reporting record sales. This Department stems from the need to offer its clients, through the organisation of specialised auctions, an increasingly accurate and professional consultancy service for the sale of their collections, entrusted to one of the best-known Italian experts in this sector.
The Department carries out valuations for hereditary divisions and for insurance purposes.
