With inscription on the frame: Si restaura la Chiesa di San Rocco 1741 dal Cav: Lor: or Pitti The following technical sheet of the work was created by Professor Sandro Bellesi as part of the inventory of the paintings of the Fattoria Franceschini. The work, intended for domestic devotion, is inserted within a sober tabernacle frame, very common in Tuscany during the sixteenth century. The characters of the painting and the typology of the figures also refer to the end of the same century. Although of modest quality, the painting finds some resonance with the school of Alessandro Allori.
