made for a Baptism, engraved with inscription in German along the edge, cup decorated with two oval enamel medallions within a garland frame, one depicting a double-headed eagle and a noble coat of arms, cylindrical stem with pods, under the base bears a dedication dated 1911, embellished of four gold coins set in the day: 1 Duchy coin (1639) Frankfurt - German States, 986 / °°° gold, approx.3.5 g, diameter 23 mm 1 Duchy coin (1640) Frankfurt - German States, 986 / °°° gold, approx.3.5 g, diameter 23 mm 1 Duchy 1652 Dutch Republic coin, 986 / °°° gold, approx.3.5 g, diameter 21.8 mm a 1 Duchy coin (1637-1657) Kremnica - Holy Roman Empire, approx.3.5 g, diameter 21.8 mm - (in this coin the issue date cannot be read clearly as it is inside the chalice)
