made as a cup with chiseled edges in cordonetto and with threads, lid with socket in the shape of a vegetal triumph, tripod base with sphinx attachment and plinth feet joined by a small crosspiece

It bears hallmarks: starry world, stern ornament, silversmith's mark C inscribed in a circle with three underlying stars.
