Pair of large silver stoups, Anzolo Scarabello

made as two oval frames surmounted by a molding made as sinuous ribbons falling on the sides with a basin for holy water in the shape of a vase with a flame finish, inside the frame there are two cherub heads in gilded bronze, modeled in very high relief, probably from a later period, applied on a tablet covered in velvet

Both bear the stamp of the silversmith Anzolo Scarabello active in Padua between 1711 and 1795, Alla Bottega all'Insegna dell'Angiolo and the taster's punch Marc'Antonio Bellotto, active between 1766 and 1788.
