Selection of a large collection of prints dedicated to the theme of travel, from the Grand Tour to the Magical Orient, aimed both at the discerning collector and to embellish one's own home. Of particular note are some rare antique maps of Italy and its islands, engravings of Greco-Roman antiquities, etchings from the finest eighteenth- and nineteenth-century illustrated travel books, views of Mediterranean cities and the Middle East, and scenes of Japanese daily life. All prints are presented in fine passe-partouts, sealed in cellophane envelopes that were not opened during the cataloguing process.
