Large copperplate vignette on the frontispiece with the emblem of the Crusca. Many vignettes, initials, friezes, copperplate headpieces, engraved initials and tailpieces. Full parchment binding with gold title on a tag on the spine, slight defects (peeling). Rare foxing. Complete copy of the beautiful original posthumous edition of the sonnets of Francesco Redi
