An atmosphere of times gone by in ancient Crema, where furnishings and paintings belonging to the family of painter Eugenio Cecconi are preserved in a beautiful house in the historic centre and in a Liberty-style villa on the outskirts of the city. Fine 18th-century Lombard and Tuscan furniture is mixed with other 19th-century pieces, together with a multitude of curiosities, gallantries and various amenities. In the collection of Macchiaioli painters, in addition to small oil paintings and watercolours by Eugenio Cecconi, there are works by Giovanni Bartolena, Luigi Gioli, Michele Gordigiani, Francesco Vinea and Galileo Chini.
