Valditevere - Assortment of cotton or silk dresses
in multicolored patterns, some defects
(12)
Historic brand of Italian Haute Couture, initially a fabric company and later a fashion boutique, it was founded in 1952 by Donina Gnecchi, Vittorina Pacini and Piretta Rocco from Torre Padula. The initial idea of Valditevere was to preserve a tradition of the upper Tiber valley, of San Sepolcro, of Città di Castello: hand weaving. The fabrics triggered the desire to also create fashion: very colorful après-ski skirts, ponchos, dresses with a great and young imagination. Valditevere was a pioneer of the ready-to-wear fashion shows in Florence, the historic boutique was located in Via dei Rondinelli.
