A double jade vase with covers surmounted by mythological birds, China, Qing dynasty, 19th century

in grey-green jade, carved as two adjacent and conjoined vessels, decorated in low relief with vegetal and scroll motifs. Each cover topped with a finely carved mythological bird. Surface with traces of oxidation and ancient patina.
