A Jade vase with taotie motifs, China, 18th–19th century

in pale green jade with light brownish-golden inclusions, of hu shape with chi-dragon handles on the shoulders and the body finely carved with archaistic taotie motifs.

清 白玉带沁商周式夔龙耳饕餮云雷纹尊 玉质莹润，色近羊脂，局部铁沁黄橘色。器仿商周礼尊之制，侈口，鼓腹，饰双夔耳于侧。腹面浅浮雕饕餮纹，间以细密云雷纹，纹饰对称规整，刀法婉转而不失劲挺，古意甚浓，清代陈设之雅器。
