A stem cup China, Qing dynasty, bearing apocryphal mark “Da Ming Jiajing nianzhi”

Of Gaozuwan shape, the exterior surface is covered in a glossy cinnabar-red glaze and decorated in gold with floral scroll motifs. The interior is painted in underglaze blue with a chrysanthemum and an insect in the central medallion, and a decorative band with floral motifs beneath the rim. The base bears an apocryphal underglaze blue mark “Da Ming Jiajing nianzhi.”

清 外朱红釉描金缠枝花卉内青花菊纹高足碗
器形高足碗式，通体外壁施亮泽朱红釉，并以金彩描绘缠枝花卉纹；内壁施青花，口沿绘缠枝花卉纹饰带，内底绘折枝菊花与草虫。底书青花“大明嘉靖年製”六字寄托款，楷书，釉下书写。
