in copper body enamelled in famille rose palette, decorated on both sides with garden scenes of scholars — one side showing two literati conversing beside a table with scrolls and books, the reverse depicting a man and a child among pines and rocks. Geometric borders to neck and foot, carnelian stopper. Four-character Qianlong nian zhi mark in blue enamel on the base.
