Silver liturgical chalice
Rome, second half of the 18th century
the base of the cup embossed with acanthus leaf motif, vermeil interior, turned stem with vase motif, on a circular foot chiseled with a vegetal motif on the inside weighted, accompanied by its beautiful case covered in embossed leather and highlighted in gold
gross 460 g, height 21 cm
Bears stamps for Rome, 18th century, with papal keys and pavilion. We also note another hallmark (hardly legible) similar to the one in force since 1793 for gold (triregnum with star above). See A.
