Hallmarks: all three parts bear the 800 stamp within an oval and the silversmith's symbol (prancing horse or bull within a shield); tray and lid also with official silversmith's stamp, 28 MI within decussed lozenge. The manufacture was active from 1935, it ceased between 1955 and 1971; on the tray engraved “Janesich Trieste” (retailer)
