To be collected in Florence, Savonarola area On the reverse they bear cartouches of origin and approval "Creazioni Walt Disney S.A.I". In 1938 the Ceramica Zaccagnini factory in Florence, active since the end of the nineteenth century, obtained a license from Walt Disney Productions for the production of figurines inspired by Disney films, in the wake of the extraordinary success of the first animated feature film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. In 1940 the two artists Fabio Mauro and Enrico Krasnik, of Studio I.P.I. An Italian public company, they created for the Giunti publishing house of Florence the evocative tables for the publication of the book "The adventures of Pinocchio. History and stories of a puppet", inspired by the American cartoon by Walt Disney, banned in Italy by the fascist regime.
