Piero Figura developed his style in Milan, where, in the early 1990s, he founded ‘Studio 1950’, which became a landmark on the international art scene. Named ‘Designer of the Year’ in 1988 by AD magazine, he was the subject of a celebrated exhibition at Harrods in London that same year. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with prestigious brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior and Vogue Gioiello, as well as the historic Vetrerie Seguso, for whom he created the renowned series of blown-glass animals exhibited worldwide.
