Important book collection dedicated to Sicily comprising over 1,200 texts from the Sixteenth to the Twentieth century on History, Art, Antiquities, Cartography and Traditions of the island, with particular attention to travel books and guides. The ancient collection is made up of about 700 volumes, the modern one has more than 500 volumes to integrate and study the ancient part, with in-depth studies on odeporic literature, the Grand Tour, Federico II, Goethe, art, history, archeology and Sicilian folk traditions.
