Holy water stoup in silver, probably Giuseppe Zorzi
Rome, first half of the 19th century
made in a temple and embossed with opposing scrolls and scrolls, oval light with miniature depicting the Virgin inspired by a painting by Filippo Lippi, shell-shaped cup (perhaps not relevant), applied to a wooden shield
20x11.5 cm
It bears the stamp for major works in force for the city of Rome from 1815 to 1870; silversmith's hallmark similar to that of Giuseppe Zorzi.
