Important ebonized wood veneered coin cabinet

Flanders, 17th/18th century
entirely embellished in ivory inlays decorated with scenes inspired by Jacques Callot's engravings; if closed on the two doors and on the sides there are engraved frame threads with geometric motifs, two lateral wrought iron grips, inside the doors are centered by two arched panels engraved with figures of Roman soldiers between Raphaelesque frames, in the center of the door engraved with a similar figure amid triumphs of fruit, framed by nine small drawers decorated with Callot-style scenes with characters within landscapes, secret, no defects, some faults, fragments are present
